The Secret Life of a Wanna Be Indie Rock God

about

Our story opens early on a Sunday or Monday morning, 4:30 am or so. Our hero has just pulled back into his home after a run of bar shows to a few people each night, often enthusiastic but never overwhelming in number.

He awakes soon after he hasn't slept and settles in to real life. He has children and a wife, and they are his true joy, but he struggles to communicate as he always has and finds himself again lost in his thoughts and tunes. He plays constantly, even when he doesn't have an instrument in hand. They play too.

We close as our hero departs for another stab at a roaring crowd hopefully outnumbering the band and bartenders. All is well here and there. All is well everywhere.
